Impact Originally, Lowder appeared to be a candidate to sit out a year after appearing in 12 games for Holy Cross in 2019-20 -- his only collegiate season. He did show big flashes of potential as a freshman, putting up 16.4 points and 4.0 assists over his first five games with the Crusaders. While Eastern Michigan does return four of five starters from a season ago, there's a good case to be made for Lowder taking over point guard duties from Darion Spottsville out of the gates.
