GAME LOG

Logs 39 minutes in Elite Eight loss Sills contributed nine points (4-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 0-1 FT), one rebound, two assists and one steal in 39 minutes during Saturday's 79-76 loss to Florida Atlantic.
Impact Sills played a season-high 39 minutes, as he saw more opportunities with Wildcats leading scorer Keyontae Johnson stuck in foul trouble for much of the game before he fouled out late in the second half. Sills returned an overall solid performance while starting for the ninth time in the past 10 games, though this wasn't enough to defeat the red-hot Owls. As a result, Sills' fifth, and apparently final, collegiate season will come to an end after transferring from Arkansas State last offseason. Over 35 appearances for Kansas State, the 6-foot-2 guard averaged 8.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists while shooting 44.9 percent from the field and 22.8 percent from beyond the arc.

Highlights free-throw line Sills supplied 12 points (3-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-7 FT), four rebounds and one steal in 29 minutes during Sunday's 75-69 win over Kentucky.
Impact Sills scored in double figures for the fourth time in his past five appearances. The Arkansas State transfer played a prominent sixth-man role over his first 26 games of the season, though he's now started in each of his past seven appearances. Yet, his overall production has taken a significant jump over this span, as he's only averaging one more point and 0.9 rebounds per game while playing 3.2 more minutes per contest. Expect Sills to continue providing solid scoring when Kansas State faces Michigan State in the Sweet 16.

Back in starting five Sills (undisclosed) is in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against TCU, Derek Young on On 3 Sports reports.
Impact Sills was unable to go in the regular season finale but will return to action after just a one-game absence. The 6-2 senior started the last four games he was active and will be back in that role as the Wildcats make a push for better seeding in the NCAA Tournament. Across his four starts, Sills averaged 8.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists over 33 minutes per game.

Impact Sills appears likely to miss his first game of the season Saturday. The senior guard's next chance to suit up will come in the Big 12 tournament.

Logs second consecutive start Sills closed Tuesday's 75-65 win over Baylor with six points (2-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and three assists across 33 minutes.
Impact Sills started his second game in a row in place of previous starting forward David N'Guessan, the latter of whom played 23 minutes off the bench Tuesday. The 6-foot-2 senior has not seen any significant change in his role or production since moving up into the starting rotation, as he's now averaged 8.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists while playing 28.9 minutes per game this season. Sills and fellow starting guard Cam Carter will both likely continue to see moderate production while playing alongside high-usage point guard Markquis Nowell.

11 points in narrow loss Sills closed with 11 points (4-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-4 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal over 34 minutes during Saturday's 69-66 loss to Texas.
Impact Sills provided the Wildcats' second-most points behind the team's leading scorer Keyontae Johnson (16) on Saturday. The 6-foot-2 reserve guard has played a prominent role off the bench for Kansas State this season, though he's now logged at least 34 minutes in back-to-back games. However, Sills has still averaged right around his season average for points (8.3), rebounds (3.3) and assists (2.2) over these contests. Therefore, it's likely his production will remain limited overall moving forward despite playing more minutes per game (28.2) than starting shooting guard Cam Carter (26.4).

Big night off the bench Sills supplied 24 points (7-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 8-9 FT), four rebounds and three steals in 34 minutes during Tuesday's 83-82 OT victory over Kansas.
Impact Sills posted a season high in points against the in-state rival Jayhawks. The 6-foot-2 reserve guard and star forward Keyontae Johnson also tied for a team high in points during this last-minute win, as these two accounted for 28 of the Wildcats' 60 field-goal attempts. Sills has played starting minutes this season, averaging 28.3 minutes across 18 contests off the bench. However, he averaged 8.5 points while converting 45.4 percent of his 7.0 field-goal tries per game coming into Tuesday, so it's unlikely that the fifth-year senior will replicate many performances like this moving forward through Big 12 play.

Three steals in easy win Sills totaled six points (3-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and three steals in 28 minutes during Monday's 77-57 victory over Rhode Island.
Impact Sills once again saw significant playing time while coming off the bench for the fourth game in a row. While the graduate transfer saw more significant playing time in a full-time starting role with Arkansas State last season, his rebounding and assist averages have not fallen off significantly, and his playing time has only dropped by 4.8 minutes per contest so far. Sills should continue to contribute on the boards and as a facilitator in Kansas State's common small-ball lineups this season.

Commits to Kansas State Sills announced Tuesday via his personal Twitter feed that he has transferred to Kansas State.
Impact Sills has decided to transfer to Kansas State after spending his first three seasons with Arkansas followed by one season at Arkansas State. During his time with the Red Wolves, the 6-foot-2 guard averaged 12.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.8 steals per game in 29.8 minutes. With not much depth in the shooting guard position for the Wildcats, Sills has a good opportunity to be a key part of the team's offense next season.
