Joining Catamounts Simon has announced his commitment to Vermont, via his personal X.com account.

Impact Simon will make the move to Vermont after spending the last two seasons with San Diego. The 6-foot-11 sophomore appeared in 22 games this past season while struggling with a hand injury, averaging 4.9 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.8 blocks on 12.8 minutes per game. Simon will look to compete for a role in the Catamounts' frontcourt this season.

Impact Simon was expected to be out for early-2025 because of a hand injury. Instead, he logged February and March games before his portal decision. Simon has two years of collegiate eligibility and a redshirt remaining.
