Impact Buchanan has played well since entering the starting five for Rutgers over the past three games. In that time, he's averaging 13.0 points and 6.7 rebounds while shooting 44.4 percent from the field. The forward was held in check as a rebounder against Iowa, which certainly contributed to the defeat, and he was also held without an assist for the first time since Dec. 6. Impact Buchanan's 13 points were a season high, but it was also the fourth time in six games the junior forward has scored in double figures coming off the bench for Rutgers this season. The George Washington transfer has fit in pretty easily in Piscataway, shooting 51.4 percent from the field. With the myriad of issues the Scarlet Knights have endured this season, there's a chance he manages to work his way into the starting lineup at some point this season.
