Grabs seven rebounds in return Douglas (ankle) played 16 minutes off the bench in his return Friday against St. Bonaventure. He finished with four points (2-2 FG) and seven rebounds.

Impact Douglas only missed one game but managed to log decent minutes off the bench in his return, and he looked quite active on both ends of the court. His next chance to play will come Feb. 17 at Richmond, though it remains to be seen whether he'll move back to the starting lineup or not.

Impact Douglas missed Tuesday's game against Dayton due to an ankle injury suffered during Monday's practice. His appearance in warmups is an encouraging sign toward his availability, though there's yet to be a determination made for his availability in Friday's game.

Impact Douglas broke a streak of 16 consecutive starts back on Feb. 3 against Rhode Island, and the senior was limited to just 14 minutes in the contest. We now know that was due to ankle problems as well, but it's apparently his opposite ankle that was twisted in practice Monday. Fortunately for VCU, this injury isn't expected to keep him out for more than a couple days, though a quick turnaround Wednesday against Davidson seems like a big ask.
