Impact Even though Serven has five seasons logged, he has one year of collegiate eligibility remaining. Prior to Virginia Tech, the VT senior was enrolled at both Illinois and Eastern Michigan.

Impact Serven has transferred to Virginia Tech from Eastern Michigan. While enrolled there, the 6-foot-8 forward served as decent depth, averaging 18 minutes across his 31 games (13 started). Serven could be a capable option off Virginia Tech's bench, which would still be an upgrade considering the Hokies' status as a Power Five team.
