Checks into portal Watson placed his name in the transfer portal Sunday and is expected to leave Miami (Fla.), Joe Tipton of On3.com reports.

Impact The 6-foot-7, 211-pound wing from Maryland appeared in 24 of Miami's 32 games in 2023-24, averaging 2.8 points and 1.5 rebounds in 12.7 minutes per contest. As a first-time transfer, Watson will be able to compete right away at his next school in 2024-25 and will have up to two years of eligibility at his disposal.
