Few centers in the league will be able to match Bassey's power and athleticism in the post, so he should continue to be one of the best assets in fantasy formats where the Hilltoppers are in the player pool.

Impact After bypassing the 2019 NBA Draft following an outstanding freshman season, Bassey was expected to be one of the top mid-major players in the country in 2020-21. He was unable to boost his draft stock the way he probably hoped, however, as Bassey averaged 15.3 points, 9.2 boards, 1.6 blocks and 1.3 assists in 28.1 minutes per game over 10 appearances before fracturing the tibia in his left leg in December and requiring season-ending surgery. The big man has apparently cleared nearly all the hurdles in his rehab process over the past few months, so he should be ready to re-establish himself as one of the nation's premier frontcourt players during his junior season.
