Expected to redshirt Interim coach Ron Sanchez indicated Wednesday that Lang is expected to redshirt this season, Jacquie Franciulli of 247Sports.com reports.

Impact Lang would miss the remainder of the year if he does proceed with utilizing his redshirt. The sophomore froward averaged 1.8 points and 3.5 rebounds in appearances for Vanderbilt last season.

Leaving Vanderbilt Lang has entered the NCAA transfer portal, VerbalCommits.com reports.

Impact Lang will depart from Vanderbilt after spending one season with the program. The 6-foot-9 freshman appeared in 24 games during the 2023-24 season (seven starts), averaging 1.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 0.4 blocks on 11.6 minutes per game.
