Stuffs stat sheet in loss Love recorded 11 points (3-14 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds, four assists and a steal across 28 minutes in Tuesday's 79-76 loss against NC State.

Impact Love might have ended as the Tar Heels' second-highest scorer, but he had a woeful game from the field after making just three of his 14 shot attempts. Love extended his double-digit scoring streak to four games, but he is making just 30 percent of his shots in that span and needs to find a way to boost his percentages if he wants to keep his upside high.

Scores 16 points in win Love posted 16 points (6-18 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and a block in 36 minutes during Tuesday's win over Stanford.

Impact Love might have scored 16 points to carry the Tar Heels offensively in their third straight win, but he shot just 33.3 percent from the field in the win -- he has made just 31.6 percent of his shots through his first three games. The production will be there, but there's no question the freshman needs to improve those shooting numbers to boost his upside even further.

Scores team-high 17 points Love finished with 17 points (4-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 8-8 FT), four assists, two steals and a rebound in Wednesday's 79-60 win over Charleston.

Impact Love started in his debut as a Tar Heel and didn't waste time to make an impact, finishing as the team's top scorer and passer while also attempting the most shots. He wasn't accurate from the field, but Love should continue to make an impact on offense based on what he showcased in the season opener. His next chance to feature will come Monday at UNLV.
