Impact Walker had been playing insignificant minutes in SEC play, but was given more run in the blowout loss. The 6-8 senior has scored in double digits three times, but this was the first time in the conference schedule. He had scored a combined 12 points in four previous appearances against SEC opponent. The Bulldogs are mired in a four-game losing streak, so maybe the Montana State transfer will play more going forward.

Impact Walker spent the past two seasons at Montana State, where he was a force to be reckoned with in the Bobcats' front court. The 6-foot-7 wing averaged 14.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists across 29 starts last season. He was also extremely efficient, shooting 52.8 percent from the field and 38.6 percent from three-point land. He'll need to work on his free-throw shooting (54.5 percent in 2024-2025), but he looks like he could feasibly be a capable scorer for Mississippi State in his senior season.
