Productive outing vs. Gamecocks Cain supplied 14 points (4-8 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one steal over 31 minutes during Tuesday's 73-64 victory over South Carolina.

Impact Cain scored 12 or more points for the sixth straight game, and his seven rebounds were the second-highest total on the team Tuesday night. He's hit two threes in two straight games as well, and was once again highly efficient, taking smart shots and passing on bad ones all night. What's more, it's encouraging to see Cain post a zero in the turnover category after combining for eight giveaways in Georgia's previous two games.

Chips in 12 and 6 Cain contributed 12 points (4-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds and one assist over 26 minutes during Tuesday's 88-83 victory over Florida.

Impact Cain was efficient in his role and did well to help crash the glass in a huge win over Florida. The sophomore guard did commit five turnovers, a season-high and something he'll certainly need to clean up going forward. Still, he's now hit double-digit points in four straight games, the longest such stretch of his career.

Drops 17 vs. Aggies Cain recorded 17 points (6-12 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist and two steals across 37 minutes during Tuesday's 69-53 loss to Texas A&M.

Impact Cain's 17 points tied his season-high and he shot 50 percent from the field for the second straight game. The guard has seen his efficiency dip slightly this season, but his recent performances are helping push that trend in the right direction. Cain will look to stay hot as a shooter against Missouri on Feb. 15.

Nine points in win Cain closed Tuesday's 71-60 victory over South Carolina with nine points (3-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and one steal across 23 minutes.

Impact Cain's efficiency is down this season, but he's seeing more time as an every-game starter and has seen his stats grow accordingly. The guard has been hot-and-cold this year, as he's scored as many as 17 points and as few as zero. He's similarly been a wild card as a rebounder on a nightly basis. The Bulldogs would like to see more consistency out of their sophomore.

Chips in a dozen Cain posted 12 points (4-11 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT), eight rebounds and two assists over 30 minutes during Saturday's 70-68 loss to Auburn.

Impact Cain's numbers rarely jump out of the box scores, but he's quietly started all 18 games for the Bulldogs and has increased his scoring, rebounding and assist averages from 2023-24 with the uptick in minutes. Albeit in a losing effort, Cain also matched his best rebounding total of SEC play Saturday, taking advantage of an Auburn frontcourt that was missing Johni Broome. He and the Bulldogs have a tilt at Arkansas coming up this Wednesday.

Hits double figures again Cain contributed 10 points (4-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists and two steals over 34 minutes during Saturday's 73-68 victory over Grand Canyon.

Impact Cain hadn't hit double-digit points since Nov. 23 against Marquette, but he scored 10 in a close win over Grand Canyon. The guard has taken steps forward in his sophomore season in terms of playing time and efficiency, but he's still rather inconsistent from a fantasy perspective.

Averaging double figures through five Cain is averaging 10.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists across 26.6 minutes over five games to begin the 2024-25 season for Georgia.

Impact Cain has feasted on lesser competition to start the year, as the undefeated Bulldogs have yet to face anyone ranked in the KenPom top-100. What's important is that he's started all five games at power forward, and is currently on pace for career highs in most major categories (absent three-point shooting, where he's 6-for-22 (27.3 percent) to begin the year. In any case, the sophomore wing is off to a promising and productive start as one of five Georgia players averaging double figures. He'll get his first real test Saturday when the Bulldogs take on Marquette.

Key contributor as Bulldogs advance Cain contributed 17 points (5-13 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds and one assist over 30 minutes during Tuesday's 79-77 victory over Ohio State.

Impact Cain's scoring has been up and down this year, as he's averaging just 7.5 ppg but also has four games with 17 or more. The freshman has has picked things up of late, however, starting every game since March 5 and posting respectable averages of 9.7 ppg and 4.7 rpg over that seven-game stretch. He'll get at least one more chance to solidify his role for next season with Georgia advancing to the NIT Semifinals on April 2.
