Impact According to Isaac Trotter and Kyle Boone of CBSSports.com on Sept. 11, the NCAA has been investigating sports betting violations of 13 student athletes at six Division I teams, one of them Arizona State. According to Matt Norlander of CBS Sports, the ASU player involved is Freeman, which could explain why he was kicked off his old team back in February. Even though Freeman committed to Central Florida last spring, UCF's spring roster did not include him then. With the Knights' 2025-26 season about to kick off, he remains not part of their team. It is safe to say that until further notice, the aforementioned campaign will not include Freeman.
