Impact Kaluma has averaged 11.6 points, 11 attempts, 5.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists during 30 minutes over the last five games. The freshman went perfect from the foul line for the first time since the 83-71 win over BYU on Dec. 11. He will seek to stay hot and follow up his excellent performance with another against Georgetown on Saturday.

Tireless in loss Kaluma produced 18 points (7-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one block across 35 minutes during Wednesday's 72-55 loss to Butler.

Impact Kaluma recorded a career-high 13 shot attempts and led his team in scoring Tuesday. He also has officially squashed the foul bug that plighted his production coming out of the layoff. The freshman recorded 11 fouls over the first three games of the new year and has only committed 4 in his last three games. Kaluma has recorded over 11 attempts three times this year, each game has ended as a Creighton defeat. Perhaps the Blue Jays could've used more rebounding help from Kaluma, but ultimately the three-point shooting is what sunk the ship Wednesday. Creighton shot a piddly 9.1 percent from three-point territory. The Blue Jays will look to elevate their three-point percentage above 10 percent in Saturday's game against Xavier.

Impact Kaluma has averaged 6.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, four turnovers and 3.7 fouls during 25.7 minutes over his last three appearances. Since the layoff, the freshman hasn't been able to get his turnovers and fouling under control. He has been just as precise with his shot selection, shooting 47.1 percent from the floor. However, he will look to squash the turnover bug to get his production back on track against St. John's on Wednesday.

Impact Kaluma recorded a season-low one turnover on his way to taking a season-high-tying 12 shot attempts. The last time the forward recorded 12 shots he turned the ball over five times. The sky is the limit if he can continue to combine aggression at the rim with adequate ball care. Through his last five appearances, the freshman has averaged 8.6 points and 5.4 rebounds.

Efficient night from the floor Kaluma closed with 12 points (5-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-4 FT), six rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 24 minutes during Saturday's 70-65 victory over SIUE.

Impact Kaluma opened the second half with a putback dunk to get the home crowd energized, and later, his two-hand jam had the entire Creighton bench howling. The only thing preventing him from recording more offensive rebounds on the night was the excellent 53.6 team-shooting percentage in the second half. The freshman has averaged 9.6 points and 4.6 rebounds through 22.6 minutes in his first seven starts. All the while he has maintained a shooting efficiency of 50.9 percent.
