Tyree Appleby - Downgraded to doubtful Appleby (ankle) is doubtful to play in Saturday's game against Rutgers, Les Johns of 247Sports.com reports.

Impact Appleby was originally tabbed as questionable following re-injuring his ankle in Wednesday's game against App State. Now it appears he is slated to sit out this interconference matchup. Appleby's injury could have been a lot worse, but now it is just a sprain and he will hope to get back on the court next week for ACC play.

Andrew Carr - Scores season-high 20 points Carr closed Wednesday's 67-66 win over App State with 20 points (8-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists and two steals in 37 minutes.

Impact Carr posted his best scoring mark of the season, and he finally snapped a three-game stretch in which he couldn't score more than five points. He's been trending in the wrong direction of late, and even when factoring in this 20-point game, Carr is averaging 9.8 points over his last five appearances.

Zach Keller - DNP vs. App State Keller did not play Wednesday because of a coach's decision, according to Les Johns of 247Sports.com.

Impact Keller did not play largely because Deacons head coach Steve Forbes preferred using Matthew Marsh, Davion Bradford and Andrew Carr as their centers on Wednesday. The absent big man will try to return Saturday at Rutgers.

Matthew Marsh - Five points, six rebounds Marsh contributed five points (2-3 FG, 1-2 FT), six rebounds and one steal in 25 minutes during Wednesday's 67-66 win over App State.

Impact Deacons head coach Steve Forbes did not want to use Zach Keller on Wednesday, so Marsh was their starting center. Fantasy managers should not expect this to be a regular occurrence. Keller is expected to be the Deacons' starting center as some of their conference games begin to approach.

Impact Despite his inefficient shooting overall, Williamson was an excellent three-point shooter Wednesday. He has 1.7 treys averaged and a 34.1 percentage concerning that category across his nine games from Nov. 7 to Dec. 14.

Impact Appleby injured his ankle while practicing Monday. He recovered before Wednesday and finished with 15 points (5-14 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT), one rebound, four assists and three steals in 34 minutes during Wednesday's 67-66 win over App State, but he re-damaged it that day and now it remains to be seen if he'll be able to feature in the team's upcoming contest.
