No. 5 UConn earned its fourth victory over a ranked opponent already this season, beating No. 18 Florida 77-73 in the Jimmy V Classic.

Scores 14, grabs nine boards Condon amassed 14 points (5-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-5 FT), nine rebounds, four assists and three blocks in 36 minutes during Tuesday's 77-73 loss to UConn.

Impact Condon has been productive even though the Gators have lost their last three games and have now lost as many games as they all of last year on their way to the championship. In the losing streak, the Florida forward has provided 11.3 points on just 40.7 percent from the field, 9.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists. The Gators take on George Washington on Saturday that may get them back into the win column.

Condon had his fourth double-double as the Gators dropped their second straight game. He failed to hit half of shots in consecutive games for the first time this season. Things do not get easier for Florida as they face Connecticut next Tuesday.

Impact Condon did not play Florida's latest game as a precautionary measure, so it should not be too surprising that the Gators have him available after several days of rest and considering their upcoming opponent. Duke's team ranks top-five in the AP Poll and is led by freshman Cameron Boozer, a power forward. He plays the same position as Condon, who Florida will depend on to counteract the first-year superstar with his own production. The junior champion is averaging 15.7 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.2 blocks this season.

Impact Condon took a hit to the head in Thursday's loss to TCU, and he'll take a seat Friday as a precaution. Micah Handlogten will replace Condon in the starting lineup, while Viktor Mikic could see a larger role. Condon's next chance to play will come Tuesday against Duke.
