Impact Szymczyk has yet to play this season due to a broken foot but will return to action Saturday. The sophomore big man will likely compete for bench minutes in Florida's frontcourt after averaging 2.1 points and 1.3 rebounds in 7.6 minutes across 14 appearances in 2022-23.

Impact Initially expected to be out until December, Szymczyk may be unavailable for the whole month. Now, it is likely the earliest he can play again is Florida's game against Quinnipiac on Dec. 30. Even then, that return date is not a certainty, as Szymczyk still remains without a concrete timetable for his return.

Impact The freshman was given a fantastic opportunity in Saturday's loss, logging a season-high 20 minutes played which led to a season-high eight points and six rebounds.
