Impact It sounds as if the absence here was merely precautionary with UAB set to take on an overmatched DII opponent and a big non-conference matchup against Drake in line for Friday. Vasquez has had an up-and-down role this season, but he started a six-game stretch from November 16 through December 9 that included two performances of 25-plus points. He then came off the bench December 13 for his second-lowest minutes total of the year before getting held out altogether Sunday. The inconsistent usage makes it tough to rely on Vasquez in this week's fantasy lineups, but it at least appears this injury shouldn't be a long-term issue.
