Impact Storr provided the Rebels with double-digit scoring over the first seven games of the season, averaging 14.9 ppg over that span. The stage appeared set for a bounce back from a down year at Kansas in 2024-25, but adversity has hit Chris Beard and the Rebels, and it's directly coincided with an increase in the level of competition the team has faced. Mississippi has now lost four games in a row, all against power-five opponents, and Storr's production has been plummeting of late. He was held to six points in 24 minutes Dec. 2 against Miami, and after the game, there was a viral moment in which Beard appeared to throw Storr under the bus at a post-game presser (via Ben Garrett of On3 Sports). Saturday was the first game since that incident, and Storr followed it up with just two points across a season-low minutes total. The 6-foot-7 junior struggled to catch on with the Jayhawks, averaging 6.1 points, 1.7 rebounds and 0.7 assists on 15.7 minutes per game. Storr, who posted 16.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 0.6 steals across 36 starts with the Badgers during the 2023-24 season, will look to reinvent himself with the Rebels this coming season.
