Joining the Rams Nowell has announced his commitment to VCU, Zach Joachim of the Richmond Times-Dispatch reports.

Impact Nowell has opted to join the Rams after spending his freshman season with UConn. The 6-foot freshman, who averaged 1.5 points, 0.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists on 6.4 minutes per game with the Huskies (18 games), will look to seize a larger role with VCU next season.
