Blackhawks sign forward Oliver Moore to a 5-year deal worth $4.25 million per year

CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago Blackhawks signed forward Oliver Moore to a five-year deal on Thursday, locking up an important piece of their long-term future.

The deal with the 21-year-old Moore carries an average annual value of $4.25 million.

Moore, a first-round pick by Chicago in the 2023 draft, had five goals and 14 assists in 51 games for the Blackhawks last season while averaging just under 13 minutes of ice time per game.

Moore is coming off an offseason in which he made his debut for Team USA at the world championships, picking up three assists.
