Wright has 19 in SIU-Edwardsville's 81-67 win over Detroit Mercy

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (AP) — Lamar Wright had 19 points in SIU-Edwardsville's 81-67 victory over Detroit Mercy on Saturday.

Wright shot 6 for 8 (3 for 4 from 3-point range) and 4 of 6 from the free-throw line for the Cougars (4-3). Ray'Sean Taylor added 15 points and six assists. Jordan Pickett finished with 11 points.

Jayden Stone finished with 23 points for the Titans (0-6). Detroit Mercy also got 16 points from Marcus Tankersley. In addition, Edoardo Del Cadia finished with 14 points, six rebounds and four assists.
