Forrest's 19 help North Alabama down Stetson 79-72

FLORENCE, Ala. (AP) — Damien Forrest scored 19 points as North Alabama beat Stetson 79-72 on Thursday night.

Forrest also added eight rebounds for the Lions (10-12, 4-4 Atlantic Sun Conference). Tim Smith Jr. added 16 points while shooting 6 for 10 (2 for 4 from 3-point range) and 2 of 4 from the free throw line, and also had 10 rebounds. Dallas Howell was 5 of 10 shooting (4 for 9 from 3-point range) to finish with 14 points.

Stephan D. Swenson led the way for the Hatters (13-10, 5-3) with 19 points and five assists. Stetson also got 17 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks from Aubin Gateretse. In addition, Jalen Blackmon finished with 15 points.
