Bascoe puts up 20 as Bucknell knocks off Southern Indiana 67-56
LEWISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Josh Bascoe's 20 points helped Bucknell defeat Southern Indiana 67-56 on Monday night.
Bascoe was 6-of-11 shooting, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and went 7 for 8 from the line for the Bison (2-4). Noah Williamson added 15 points that included 11 of 13 free throws and also grabbed eight rebounds. Jack Forrest shot 4 for 11, including 4 for 7 from beyond the arc to finish with 14 points, while adding 12 rebounds.
Jack Mielke led the way for the Screaming Eagles (1-5) with 14 points. Jordan Tillmon added 13 points for Southern Indiana. In addition, AJ Smith finished with nine points, six rebounds and two blocks.
