News: Jennings was arrested in Gwinnett County, Ga. on Wednesday for a DUI charge, ESPN Chicago reports. He was also ticketed for speeding and reckless driving.
Impact: The news comes only a couple weeks after Jennings finished off a disappointing campaign, his first following the four-year, $22.4 million extension he signed last January. After collecting 13 interceptions while earning back-to-back Pro Bowl nods over the previous two seasons, Jennings failed to notch a single pick in 2014, while knocking down only seven passes. In light of his drop in production, sizable contract and this embarrassing off-field incident, Jennings will have a lot to prove to the Bears' new regime.

News: Suburban Atlanta police say Jennings has been arrested on charges including DUI, reckless driving and speeding. Gwinnett County Police Cpl. Jake Smith said in a statement that 31-year-old Timothy Deshawn Jennings was driving a 2015 Mercedes at 99 mph in a 65-mph zone on I-85 before noon Wednesday. Smith says the officer conducting the stop smelled alcohol.
Impact: County records show that Jennings was booked into the county jail Wednesday afternoon and was being held on $2,711 bond. It was not immediately known if he had a lawyer. Jennings, of Orangeburg, South Carolina, has been in the NFL since 2006 and played for the Indianapolis Colts between 2006 and 2009. A Bears spokesman said the team is aware of Jennings' arrest and gathering additional information.
