News: Floyd (groin) had just one catch on three targets for four yards in Sunday's preseason game against Cincinnati. Impact: On Arizona's first possession, Carson Palmer went deep to Floyd on back-to-back plays, both of which should have resulted in a touchdown, but the duo could not connect. Floyd showed off his great speed on the first long throw, easily beating cornerback Terrance Newman. Even though Floyd was unable to come down with either long pass, he did not appear to be effected by his groin injury. Once the regular season begins, a key question is whether or not Floyd will get enough volume to take the next step to an elite fantasy option. With Larry Fitzgerald still in the fold, it could be tough for Floyd to rack up a ton of catches, but Arizona's passing game has the potential to be strong this year, meaning there might be enough to go around for both the veteran superstar and the improving third-year wide receiver.(RotoWire, )

News: Floyd (groin) returned to practice Wednesday, the Cardinals' official site reports. Impact: With their next preseason game Sunday versus the Bengals, the Cardinals are more or less on a schedule representative of the regular season. Although Floyd's participation is a positive sign for his availability this weekend, his recovering groin likely has to improve each day in order to achieve active status. Even if he fails to take the field, there's little worry regarding his ability to play in Week 1.(RotoWire, )

News: Floyd (groin) is slated to return to practice Wednesday, the Cardinals' official site reports. Impact: Coach Bruce Arians is more than displeased with some of his mainstays like Floyd taking residence in the training room, but groin concerns can linger, so it was likely the prudent approach to ensure the wideout avoided a setback. If he makes the requisite progress in drills this week, there's a possibility that Floyd will play in the Cardinals' third preseason outing, which normally affords starters about a half of play. In any case, he appears poised to be healthy once the regular season kicks off on Sept. 8 versus the Chargers.(RotoWire, )

News: Floyd (groin) didn't play in Saturday's preseason game versus Minnesota. Impact: Floyd has been sidelined for Arizona's first two preseason games due to a groin issue. While he hasn't featured in game action just yet, he's been able to practice most days thus far, indicating his injury is a minor one that simply requires maintenance here and there. Following a breakout second season, Floyd will look to play sometime before the regular season and pick up where he left off last year.(RotoWire, )
