News: Moore saw a team-leading eight targets but caught just two passes for eight yards in Sunday's loss to the Jets. Impact: Moore and quarterback Derek Carr were out of sync all day, not only failing to connect on several deep passes but on many short patterns as well. Coach Dennis Allen praised Moore for his consistency and the "different demeanor" he showed in the preseason, but Sunday's performance represented a step back for the fourth-year wideout. While the high volume of targets was an encouraging sign, Moore's upside will be curtailed until he's able to bring that consistency from the preseason into meaningful games.(RotoWire, )

News: Raiders coach Dennis Allen lauded Moore's consistency in the preseason, the San Francisco Chronicle reports. "[Moore], I think, has really kind of gotten back to where he was maybe a couple of years ago when we first got here," Allen said Tuesday. "I saw a different demeanor out of Moore this year and he's been a lot more consistent. I think he's beginning to take that next step, which is a really positive sign." Impact: Believed to be on the roster bubble early in camp, Moore now appears firmly locked in as the Raiders' No. 3 wideout after a strong preseason, which was capped off by a 58-yard, two touchdown performance last Thursday. Most of those yards came on a 36-yard pass from newly anointed starter Derek Carr, whose strong arm should at least allow the speedy Moore to continue hitting the occasional home run, even if the efficiency issues persist. "I was worried about being the go-to guy, building up that pressure on myself when I didn't have to," said Moore.(RotoWire, )
