News: Rivers (ribs/knee) said after Sunday's win over the Raiders that he is no more banged up than any other quarterback in the NFL, The San Diego Union-Tribune reports. Impact: Teammate Antonio Gates said Rivers has been dealing with a severe rib injury for the last three or four weeks, though the quarterback hasn't been listed on San Diego's injury report all season. Rivers also appeared to be a bit hobbled by a knee injury during Sunday's game, but he downplayed any concerns following the contest. While he'll likely join the injury report this upcoming week, Rivers clearly expects to play against the Rams. He has just one touchdown pass and 331 passing yards over the last two games.(RotoWire, )

News: Chargers tight end Antonio Gates said after Sunday's win over the Raiders that Rivers has been dealing with a serious rib injury for the past few weeks, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports. "For those who don't know, he's been dealing with a rib injury," Gates said. "A very severe rib injury." Impact: Rivers also appeared to suffer a knee/leg injury, which was confirmed to be a knee problem following the game, ESPN's Eric Williams reports. Furthermore, Rivers had the wind knocked out of him in the fourth quarter and that may have aggravated the rib issue. His health will be worth keeping an eye on for Week 12 against the Rams, as the slumping Chargers quarterback looks to get back on track.(RotoWire, )

News: Rivers completed 22-of-34 passes for 193 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's 13-6 win over the Raiders. Impact: Rivers hooked up with Malcolm Floyd on a 22-yard touchdown in the first minute of the game, but it was a struggle from that point on. Since throwing for 313 yards and three touchdowns in Week 6, Rivers has been in a little bit of a funk over the last four games, posting a 6:6 TD:INT ratio, with two performances under 200 passing yards. Next up for the veteran QB is St. Louis, which has been better at stopping the run than pass this season.(RotoWire, )
