News: Rudolph agreed to a five-year, $36.5 million contract extension with the Vikings, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Impact: Rudolph's deal can be worth up to $40 million with incentives and bonuses. Rudolph was limited to eight games last year, after suffering a season-ending broken foot in Week 9. However, he could be a bigger part of this year's offense, since new Vikings offensive coordinator Norv Turner has had success with making tight ends a big part of the passing game. This contract extension may be an acknowledgement of his rising profile in the offense.(RotoWire, )
