News: Jones (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice, the Falcons' official site reports. Impact: Last week, Jones progressed from limited practices Wednesday and Thursday to a full session and a probable designation for Week 7, with such a scenario likely to occur again in advance of Sunday's game against the Lions.(RotoWire, )

News: Jones (ankle) had five catches on eight targets for 56 yards in Sunday's 29-7 loss at Baltimore. Impact: Jones caught a 10-yard screen at one point, in which he broke several tackles and showed a good burst. He also had a 24-yard grab, but was otherwise silent. Meanwhile, Roddy White busted out for the first time this season, grabbing nine passes on 15 targets for 100 yards and a touchdown. Other than White, the entire Falcons' offense struggled, however, so we'll give Jones a mulligan. It might get tougher for him next week, facing a strong Lions' secondary in London.(RotoWire, )

News: Jones (ankle) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against Baltimore, ESPN's Vaughn McClure reports. Impact: Jones played through the ankle injury last week, and although he only managed four catches, he was targeted 12 times and remains Matt Ryan's favorite receiver by a large margin. He should receive plenty of opportunities again Sunday against Baltimore's 27th-ranked pass defense.(RotoWire, )

News: Jones (ankle) was limited in Thursday's practice, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports. Impact: The Falcons are opting to lessen Jones' workload this week in an effort to have him and his gimpy ankle as healthy as possible for Sunday's matchup with Baltimore. Barring a setback in Friday's practice, Jones remains on target to start.(RotoWire, )

News: Jones (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports. Impact: After recording a season-low four receptions for 68 yards this past Sunday against the Bears, Jones' workload is predictably capped to begin the week of preparation for a Week 7 matchup at Baltimore. Still, with an average of 11.5 targets per game this season, he remains a must-start in all formats when active.(RotoWire, )

News: Jones (ankle) is still battling a sore ankle, though he's expected to play Sunday versus the Ravens, Vaughn McClure of ESPN reports. Impact: Jones was held to season-lows in catches (four) and yards (68) Sunday against Chicago, and it's difficult to gauge just how much the ankle is affecting his play. He could rest a bit during practice this week, but at this point, all signs point to the wideout being on the field against Baltimore.(RotoWire, )

News: Jones had four catches for 68 yards Sunday. Impact: Jones, who added a one-yard carry that did little to help fantasy owners, has gone three straight games without finding the end zone.(STATS, 2:51pm)

News: Jones (ankle) is listed as active for Sunday's game against Chicago. Impact: Feel free to roll with Jones as you normally would on Sunday, on the heels of his 11-catch effort in Week 5.(RotoWire, )
Oct 12, 2014
News: Jones (ankle) had four receptions on 12 targets for 68 yards in Sunday's loss to Chicago. Impact: Jones had a tough time shaking free from an aggressive Bears' defense, posting a season low in both receptions and yardage. His ankle injury didn't appear to be a factor in his performance Sunday, however. He'll have a tough test on the road next week, facing a stingy Ravens' pass defense.(RotoWire, )
Fri. Oct 10, 2014
News: Jones (ankle) is probable for Sunday's game against Chicago. Impact: Jones practiced all week, including a full practice Friday, so his injury seems close to a non-issue. Both Chicago and Atlanta have been friendly to opposing offenses, giving reason to suspect a looming shootout between the Bears and Falcons. This looks like it might be one of the better matchups Jones sees this year.(RotoWire, )
Wed. Oct 8, 2014
News: Jones (ankle) was limited in practice Wednesday, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Impact: Jones has been limited two of the past three iterations of Wednesday's practice in order to manage the ankle injury suffered in Week 2. The ailment hasn't stopped him from suiting up on game day, though, and the wideout has responded with at least one reception of 20-plus yards each week. Even more telling is his 57 targets, which matches Jeremy Maclin for the NFL lead. There seems to be nothing setting back the Matt Ryan to Jones train, and owners should continue to ride it with no qualms.(RotoWire, )
