One week after first donning a gold Hall of Fame jacket, Bill Parcells had another career-defining moment. He added another race horse to his stable. Parcells, along with trainer Gary Sciacca, won a bid for a one-year-old colt
that will cost him $105,000
at the Fasig-Tipton New York Bred Preferring Yearlings Sale in Saratoga Springs, New York. Parcells, who lives in Saratoga, also owns another horse named Saratoga Snacks, who finished third in the $100,000 John Morissey Stakes days before his induction into the Hall of Fame.
The yearling, which Parcells purchased, is a full brother to Saratoga Snacks, a four-year-old colt. Here's a look at Saratoga Snacks' win from last year:
