News: Jennings (elbow) isn't playing Saturday in Carolina.
Impact: Although Jennings' elbow injury isn't considered to be severe, the Dolphins will play it safe with the veteran wide receiver. His next opportunity to fit in some preseason reps will arrive Saturday, Aug. 29 against the Falcons.

News: Jennings missed practice Thursday with an elbow injury, according to the Miami Herald.
Impact: The injury is not considered to be serious but Jennings may not play in Saturday's preseason game. Jennings has had a strong camp and with DeVante Parker (foot) and Kenny Stills not at full strength could play a bigger role in the offense than expected.
Rotowire: Aug 19 / 11:49a ET
News: Jennings has impressed the Dolphins coaching staff with more than just his play, per the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero.
Impact: While Jennings wasn't guaranteed a top-four wideout spot by the Dolphins when he signed on with them, the report suggests that team's coaches "love him for his route-running, professionalism, leadership." For now, he's listed as a first-teamer by Miami, along with Jarvis Landry and Kenny Stills, though once DeVante Parker is fully up to speed, Jennings will have added competition for wideout targets in the Miami offense.
