2024 NBA Championship odds: Celtics favored; Mavericks rising

The NBA playoffs are in full swing and Boston remains the favorite to win the title.

The Celtics finished the regular season with the best record in the league at 64-18. They are also the -800 favorites to win the Eastern Conference as of Friday.

Let's jump into the action, with odds from DraftKings Sportsbook.

NBA EASTERN CONFERENCE WINNER: 

Boston Celtics: -800 (bet $10 to win $11.25 total)
New York Knicks: +700 (bet $10 to win $80 total)
Indiana Pacers: +1600 (bet $10 to win $170 total)

NBA WESTERN CONFERENCE WINNER: 

Denver Nuggets: +120 (bet $10 to win $22 total)
Dallas Mavericks: +240 (bet $10 to win $34 total) 
Minnesota Timberwolves: +330 (bet $10 to win $43 total) 
Oklahoma City Thunder: +700 (bet $10 to win $80 total)

CHAMPIONSHIP ODDS FOR 2023-24 NBA SEASON: 

Boston Celtics: -130 (bet $10 to win $17.69 total)
Denver Nuggets: +330 (bet $10 to win $43 total)
Dallas Mavericks: +750 (bet $10 to win $85 total) 
Minnesota Timberwolves: +900 (bet $10 to win $100 total) 
Oklahoma City Thunder: +1800 (bet $10 to win $190 total) 
New York Knicks: +2500 (bet $10 to win $260 total)
Indiana Pacers: +9000 (bet $10 to win $910 total)

In the Western Conference, after the Mavs took a 3-2 lead over the Thunder, Dallas saw its title odds move to +750 from +900. In Game 5, Luka Doncic notched a triple-double with 31 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists. 

The Mavs also saw their odds to win the West shorten slightly to +240 from +260.

In the Eastern Conference, the Knicks also took a 3-2 lead over the Pacers. New York got a decisive 121-91 victory over Indiana in Game 5, which was led by Jalen Brunson's 44 points and Isaiah Hartenstein's 17 rebounds.

However, even after that impressive performance, NY's odds to win it all still sit at +2500.
