The UFC‘s buffer event between a three week break and the greatest card of all time is full of excellent matchups. The Mexico City-held event is headlined by a matchup of two of the best lightweight contenders out there.
Rafael dos Anjos is looking to recover after losing his title via first round knockout to Eddie Alvarez. Prior to that, he was on a tear with 10 victories in 11 fights including one title defense.
Tony Ferguson has an incredible record at lightweight in the Octagon with 11 wins and just one loss. The Ultimate Fighter winner is currently on an eight-fight win streak, but suffered a scare in his last fight when short-notice foe Lando Vannata knocked him around in round one. “El Cucuy” ended up winning via second round submission.
