UFC going back to Atlanta in 2014
The UFC will return to Atlanta on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 for a UFC Fight Night event with two bouts already confirmed for the upcoming event.
This will be the UFC's third trip to Atlanta in the past few years — the past two events have been quite notable with Rashad Evans knocking out Chuck Liddell there at UFC 88 while the Jon Jones vs. Rashad Evans rivalry finally came to a head there in 2012 at UFC 145.
Now the promotion will return to Atlanta with a UFC Fight Night event planned to air on FOX Sports 1 on Jan 15.
The two bouts announced for the card include featherweights Cole Miller and Sam Sicilia squaring off while bantamweights TJ Dillashaw and Mike Easton have also agreed to meet on the FOX Sports 1 card.
More fights are expected to be announced in the coming weeks including a main event for the show and tickets will go on sale on Friday, December 6.
