UFC Fight Night on FS1: Souza vs. Mousasi weigh-in replay
A new middleweight top contender could be affirmed Friday night in Connecticut.
Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza and Gegard Mousasi are two of the top 185-pounders in the world and the winner of the main event of UFC Fight Night on FOX Sports 1 on Friday (10 p.m.) will move one step closer to a title shot. Mousasi already owns a win over Souza in his career, but that was six years ago and plenty has changed.
In the co-main event, Alistair Overeem is looking to get back into the heavyweight title picture against durable veteran Ben Rothwell. Overeem has dropped some weight, so it'll be interesting to see how he looks when he hits the scales.
Two other heavyweights, Matt Mitrione and Derrick Lewis, will also throw down and Joe Lauzon and Michael Chiesa will engage in an important lightweight bout.
But before any of that can happen Friday night, they all need to weigh-in.
