UFC Fight For The Troops grows
UFC officials confirmed with FoxSports.com tonight that three bouts have been added to the Fight For The Troops show on Nov. 6, an event first announced by UFC President Dana White on last night's edition of FOX Sports Live.
The 5-round Kennedy vs Machida main event adds Yoel Romero vs Ronny Markes, Lorenz Larkin vs Chris Camozzi, and Seth Baczynski vs Neil Magny to the Fort Campbell, KY event on FOX Sports 1.
The Ultimate Fighter alums Baczynski (17-8-0) and Magny (8-3-0) meet in a welterweight matchup, both of whom are looking to rebound from losses suffered at UFC 162 and UFC 163 respectively.
Magny—a former Army National Guard Sergeant in the Illinois National Guard, an All Army Combatives Champion and the All Guard Combatives Champion—joins Kennedy, a former US Army Ranger, as the second fighter on the card with military credentials.
The last UFC Fight For The Troops event was held in January 2011 in Fort Hood, TX headlined by Evan Dunham vs Melvin Guillard.
