UFC 204 Staff Predictions: Pay-Per-View Main Card

Published Jun. 30, 2017 6:28 p.m. ET

UFC 204 signifies the last of an eight-week run of Octagon action, and also the first title defense of Michael Bisping. Cage Pages is ready to enter this UFC break on a high note.

UFC 204 took some late hits, but the top-three fights remained in tact. In the main event, Michael Bisping will settle his score with Dan Henderson with the belt on the line.

UFC Portland was not kind to Cage Pages, with only two writers breaking even (two debuting victories contributed to that).

Leading the way at 2-2 were contributors Gabriel Gonzalez and now front-runner Jake Krier. Picking only one of the four fights correctly were contributors Ryan Wagner, Mitch Williams, Jack Kopanski, Anthony Mazziotti, Ryan D’Souza, and site expert Danny Doherty. Striking out for the night were contributors Jason Payne, Dalton Granstrom, and Sean Bio.

The five fights up for evaluation are as follows:

There was a small range of results for tonight’s card. Super-prospect Mirsad Bektic was the only unanimous choice against his third opponent, Russell Doane. Gegard Mousasi received all but one vote in the battle of veterans. Only three staffers sided with Jimi Manuwa in front of his home country. Seven of the 11 writers believe Stefan Struve will carry his momentum against Daniel Omielanczuk. In the main event, four writers are holding out hope for an H-Bomb.
