UFC 167 coming to a theater near you

Monday afternoon, the UFC and NCM Fathom Events announced that the Saturday, November 16 pay-per-view fight card from the MGM Grand Garden Arena that commemorates the UFC’s 20th anniversary would be show in theaters across the country.

Over the last two years, Hendricks (15-1) has been stacking wins and biding his time, waiting for an opportunity to share the cage with the French-Canadian champion, turning back any challenger that has been put in his way. The former two-time NCAA Division I national wrestling champion carries a six-fight winning streak into the Octagon, including victories over Carlos Condit, Martin Kampmann, and Josh Koscheck, and his mix of wrestling ability and blistering power represent a real threat to the longest-reigning champion in the UFC.

St-Pierre (24-2) has sat atop the welterweight division since April 2008, defeating former champions like Matt Hughes, B.J. Penn, Jake Shields, and Carlos Condit on his way to amassing an impressive 11-fight winning streak. One of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the sport today – and one of the best to ever grace the cage – St-Pierre is coming off a unanimous decision win over rival Nick Diaz at UFC 158 back in March. This will mark the first time St-Pierre has fought outside of Canada since his UFC 111 victory over Dan Hardy.

In addition to the championship main event, UFC 167 also features a co-main event showdown between light heavyweight contenders and UFC analysts Rashad Evans and Chael Sonnen. Here’s a look at the current fight card:
