Russian Adam Khaliev debuts against Pascal Krauss at UFC on FOX 10

The Russian invasion into the UFC continues at UFC on FOX: Henderson vs. Thomson in January as the latest import Adam Khaliev makes his debut against German fighter Pascal Krauss.

The fight was officially added on Monday to the growing roster of bouts to the upcoming show in Chicago on Jan 25.

For those unfamiliar with Adam Khaliev, he first splashed onto the international radar in 2011 when he landed one of the most incredible knockouts in MMA history with his spinning tornado kick finish of Alexei Belyaev. Since that time, Khaliev has kept up with his reputation built on that fight with four more wins and his record now stands at a perfect 6-0 as he moves to the UFC.

Khaliev joins other top Russian prospects Khabib Nurmagomedov, Rustam Khabilov and Adlan Amagov, who have all made an impact in the UFC of late.

Hoping to play spoiler to his debut is German born welterweight Pascal Krauss as he looks to bounce back from a recent loss to Hyun Gyu Lim at UFC 164. Training under famed coach Duke Roufus in Milwaukee, Krauss will try to return to his winning ways while stopping a top prospect from making an impact in his debut fight.

The welterweight bout between Khaliev and Krauss will likely occupy a spot on the preliminary portion of the UFC on FOX show.
