Ronda Rousey's attempts at saying Irish names went horribly wrong

Published Mar. 17, 2016 3:45 p.m. ET

Former UFC champ Ronda Rousey might be a big fan of Ireland and maybe even a bigger fan of St. Patrick's Day, but she's got some work to do before pronouncing some common first names from the Emerald Isle.

Rousey took a stab at some first names famous in Ireland in a recent interview and from the sound of things she has to work on her Gaelic.

Conor McGregor would be so disappointed in this performance.

If there's solace for the former queen at bantamweight it's the fact that top welterweight contender Rory MacDonald apparently attempted and fell flat when he tried to master the same list.

Also, UFC strawweight Aisling Daly (pronounced Ash-ling) might want to have a chat with Rousey they next time they cross paths.
