Ronda Rousey: 'I'm not a do-nothing b****'

Bantamweight champion and UFC 190 headliner Ronda Rousey isn't quite comfortable having the responsibility of being a role model. In the latest episode of "UFC 190 Embedded", she explained "I don't think I'm infallible enough for that."

However, Rousey does take pride in being a strong woman instead of simply looking at life as a passive dependent. Maybe Rousey isn't perfect, but least she isn't a "do-nothing b****."

"I have this one term for the kind of woman that my mother raised me to not be. I call it a 'do-nothing b****.' Or, I call it a 'DNB' a lot of the time," Rousey said with a smile in the second episode of the "Embedded" series.

The well-spoken and quite philosophical Rousey did not let the term stand on its own, however, and explained the meaning behind it. "She's a b**** who just tries to be pretty and be taken care of by someone else," she went on.

"That's why I think it's hilarious if people say that my body looks masculine, or something like that. I'm just like, 'Listen, just because my body was developed for a purpose other than f****** millionaires doesn't mean it's masculine.' I think it's femininely bad-ass as f*** because there's not a single muscle on my body that isn't for a purpose. Because, I'm not a do-nothing b****. It's not very eloquently said, but it's to the point. And, maybe that's just what I am. I'm not that eloquent, but I'm to the point."

In this regard, Rousey is most certainly not giving herself enough credit. She regularly somehow manages to make statements (amid training, cutting weight, etc., no less) that are insightful, illuminating and sometimes (in this case) downright inspiring. Haters can call Rousey whatever they want, but she's right that they'll never be able to say she's a do-nothing.

Watch the full episode above, but be warned that it is filled with wonderfully swarthy and foul language.
