REPLAY UFC Fight Night: Shogun vs. Saint Preux weigh-in results
Mauricio "Shogun" Rua might be one of the greatest fighters of all time, but come Saturday night he's going to have to face a tough challenge as Ovince Saint Preux looks to build his own career on the back of a legend.
Before facing each other in the Octagon on Saturday, Shogun and Saint Preux squared off at the weigh-ins on Friday with both competitors hitting the mark.
John Lineker's weight cutting misery continued on Friday as he hit the scale at 126.7 pounds. Lineker has one hour to cut the additional 7/10 of a pound or he will forfeit 20-percent of his purse to opponent Ian McCall.
Unfortunately, Lineker's weight cutting issues have plagued most of his UFC career and it's hard to tell now even with a win if he will be considered for a flyweight title shot against champion Demetrious Johnson.
UPDATE:
John Lineker was able to cut the additional 7/10 of a pound and weighed in at 126-pounds making his fight with Ian McCall official.
