Ramsey Nijem meets Erik Koch at FOX UFC Fight Night in Chicago
Lightweights Ramsey Nijem and Erik Koch have agreed to meet at FOX UFC Fight Night in Chicago as part of the July 25 card headlined by bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw against Renan Barao.
UFC officials confirmed the fight to FOX Sports on Wednesday.
A former "Ultimate Fighter" finalist, Nijem will look to bounce back after a recent "Fight of the Night" loss against Diego Ferreira in August 2014.
Prior to that fight, Nijem had picked up two wins in a row, including a victory over highly touted prospect Beneil Dariush.
As for Koch, he will also look to get back in the win column when he fights close to home, traveling to Chicago from nearby Milwaukee for the July card.
Koch made a big splash in his debut at 155 pounds with a knockout over Rafaello Oliveira before suffering a setback in his last bout against Daron Cruickshank.
Nijem vs. Koch is the latest addition to a growing FOX UFC Fight Night card in Chicago that also features former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis against Myles Jury in the co-main event.
