Johnny Case vs. James Vick in the works for UFC Fight Night in Houston
The UFC lands in Houston for Super Bowl LI weekend with a lightweight fight already in the works for the February 4 card.
Johnny "Hollywood" Case is expected to meet James Vick on the card as both 155-pound fighters look to get back on track following recent defeats.
The new fight was confirmed to FOX Sports by sources close to the contest on Tuesday. UFC officials have yet to announced the matchup.
Case will look to bounce back after suffering a submission loss to Jake Matthews in his last trip to the Octagon from March.
Prior to that loss, Case had won his first four fights after joining the UFC in 2014.
As for Vick, he's coming off the first defeat of his entire career after suffering a knockout to top 10 ranked lightweight Beneil Dariush in June.
The former "Ultimate Fighter" competitor had gone 9-0 with five wins in the UFC before falling to Dariush earlier this year.
Case vs. Vick is the first fight rumored for the upcoming card in Houston as the UFC puts on a show just hours before Super Bowl festivities kick off in the city on Sunday.
