The band and its famed lead singer, Bono, is on an international, 20-city tour that includes stops in Los Angeles, Barcelona and London. After their show in the Boston, the band posted this photo to their Instagram account of almost 400,000 followers:

The Boston fans had to have loved it after twice giving McGregor such a warm welcome during his fights at the TD Garden.

McGregor was originally scheduled to face Jose Aldo before injury forced the featherweight champion from the bout. Stepping in for Aldo is current No. 1 ranked featherweight Chad Mendes. UFC 189 goes down Saturday night, live on pay-per-view.
