GSP: 'I'm not a dad, I'm not in rehab and my father is not dying'
TMZ reported Monday, two days after GSP said he was going to take a leave of absence from the UFC, that the welterweight champion wanted time off to deal with a girl he got pregnant and the terminal illness of his dad. The story stated that St-Pierre didn't want the woman to keep the baby.
On Wednesday, GSP said his father is "happy, in good shape" and that he hasn't knocked up anyone.
"No, I'm by myself," St-Pierre said with a smile. "Alone. Having a good life."
GSP says he still plans on taking some time off, but will get back to training when he returns to Montreal -- "for myself," he said.
St-Pierre also shot down steroid rumors and inquiries about needing to get a new manager. His former manager Shari Spencer is suing him in a lawsuit that could be worth millions, as reported by FOXSports.com's Damon Martin.
Meanwhile, UFC president Dana White told the Los Angeles Times that he'll have a rematch booked between St-Pierre and Johny Hendricks following the controversial UFC 167 win for GSP "within a couple weeks."
