Glover Teixeira to face Ovince Saint Preux Aug. 8 in Nashville main event
Top light heavyweights Ovince Saint Preux and Glover Teixeira will meet in the main event of the Aug. 8 UFC Fight Night show in Nashville. UFC Tonight broke the news Wednesday evening.
The FOX Sports 1 event just got a bit more exciting with the addition of these two knockout artists. OSP is riding high after two straight KO wins over Mauricio "Shogun" Rua and Patrick Cummins.
Teixeira has lost two straight fights, to Phil Davis and to Jon Jones, both by decision. Before those losses, Teixeira strung together 20 straight wins.
These two sluggers are some of the most prolific finishers in the UFC. Of all his career wins, OSP has finished 78% of them.
Nineteen of Teixeira's 22 career wins have also come by way of either KO or submission. Suffice to say, Nashville will see some action on August 8.
