Gastleum impressive in UFC debut

Well, that was quick.
TUF 17 winner Kelvin Gastleum didn't seem to show any of the notorious Octagon jitters in his UFC debut, as he stormed Brian Melancon right out of the gate and finished him with an airtight rear naked choke at the 2:26 mark of the first round.
Gastelum continues to shine as a professional fighter and even more so now that he has dropped to welterweight, where he enjoys a much more significant speed advantage than he did at 185lbs.
What's next for Gastleum?

Who knows, but with his performance at UFC Fight Night, it will be hard to justify giving him anything but a big step up in competition.
