UFC welterweight champion makes his second UFC title defense Saturday night against top contender Stephen Thompson at UFC 209.
If that sounds familiar, don’t worry, it is. Woodley and “Wonderboy” fought to a majority draw during their first bout at UFC 205 last November and will meet in the Octagon in Las Vegas to finally settle the score.
The co-main event features an exciting scrap between lightweight up-and-comers Lando Vannata and David Teymur as they battle for a potential spot in the top 15 while former champion Rashad Evans makes his middleweight debut against the ageless Daniel Kelly.
A hard-hitting heavyweight tilt opens the card, as Mark Hunt throws down with Alistair Overeem.
